Andrea grew up in Calgary, AB and some of my first memories were dancing and choreographing routines with her friends and planning shows for my parents and their friends.

Her love of dance and the arts lead her to a career in musical theatre, dance shows and becoming a magician’s assistant. During this time she started working in restaurants and immediately fell in love with the performance of creating and executing a magical dining experience.

She worked her way up in some of the top fine-dining restaurants, honing in on her love to create memorable moments and using her Sommelier degree to enhance an evening with the perfect wine pairing.  She eventually opened her own restaurant with her business partner and is loves that we can grow and share with guests on a daily basis.

Throughout her life, be it in business, social, family and friends, music has fueled her. “Music is life and I love that it can bring you out of a dark place or remind you of a fond memory or instantly put you in a great mood.”

“Live, Laugh, sip, taste, dance and love.”

I was completing my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting when I took my first hot yoga class, I loved it and immediately knew I wanted to teach and share the inspiration I gained from my experience. So I set out on a wild journey to complete my yoga teacher training with world renowned Baron Baptiste. I have travelled the world to train and take classes with global yoga influencers and coaches to inform my teachings and inspire my yoga offerings and yoga teacher trainings.

My biggest priority is to add value and create a transformative experience to remind you of your true power and greatest dream whether you are a student or a yoga teacher.

Together with her husband Paul, they own and instruct at their four boutique fitness studios: The Ritual, Hot Yoga on 17th, Hot Yoga on Crowfoot & Spin and One Cycle. She is also a mom to 2 gorgeous teenage girls who keeps her own on her toes daily.

Jen is a cardio junkie at heart. Her passion for fitness and movement goes back to her early 20’s where she found her groove in choreographed group fitness classes and long distance running. After several half and full marathons over the years, she found herself looking for lower-impact workouts to compliment her fitness routine and discovered her love for barre and spin classes. “A lot of my training runs were often done solo, so I really enjoyed the group dynamic of these classes and having the opportunity to connect with the community and motivate each other to work harder and really push yourself”.

After maternity leave, she decided to combine her background in marketing and graphic design with her passion for fitness into a full-time career. “I love trying ALL kinds of workouts and drawing inspiration from a variety of different genres and combining them into my classes in a fun and unique way”.

“Focus on what you can do, the best you can, to the best of your ability.”

Get calm, clear and connected in Mindfulness and Meditation Workshops

Daily Ritual
Infuse spirituality into as much of the day as possible...not just trying to make time for spirituality, but learning to live spiritually. It all begins at 3:30am, with meditation at Amrit Vela, the hour of nectar.

Favourite book:
I was a quirky kid, and as a preschooler loved looking through art books featuring works of the Old Masters ...and still do. They seemed to capture the experience of timeless grace.

Favourite move:
I do rather enjoying jumping, the closest we get to flight.

Inspired by:

Judi’s introduction to movement started with preschool ballet class. From that point on, dance consumed her life for the years that followed. In her late teens, she discovered her love for choreography-based group fitness classes, as it seemed like the perfect blend of grace and athleticism. Decades later, she is still driven by the constant pursuit of aligning body, mind and spirit.

Judi’s class is a hybrid of playful dance-inspired movements and mat-based exercises to promote enhancement of alignment, strength and functional balance. No dance experience is required.

Mia grew up in a small town in New Brunswick by the beach and is the youngest of five strong women. She brings a wealth of fitness instruction experience including barre, yoga, bootcamps and she’s also a personal trainer.

“I love group fitness because it forces us to unplug and connect with our bodies through movement. Sweating together pushes us outside of the comfort zone. Let’s be honest- you’re not going to work this hard in your living room by yourself!”

She loves to help clients discover what their bodies are capable of and her big personality and sense of humour will motivate you to strive for your best in class.

From Egypt to Calgary, Shahinda loves to share her passion for fitness with her clients. Her style of teaching is always morphing while keeping up with the industry and guided by the power of music.

“Compound exercises are a favourite of mine and using a variety of equipment along with motivating music and an inspiring group of people to the mix and time flies. Mind over body works!”.

Her challenging sequences will build strength and endurance and keep you on your toes and caters to all levels of fitness. Come ready and be prepared to leave sweaty.

Shaima is a bit exotic. Not just because she is from Egypt or because she is a world class Muay Thai competitor. Not just because she is a unique blend of professional accountant, fitness instructor and mother to a young daughter. It is because she has a flamboyant personality that has made her an inspiration to a very loyal following.

“When people come to my class I expect them to leave their issues at the door and to focus on themselves. I want the greatest version of themselves in class. I want each person to be a source of strength for those around them because they never know who they could be inspiring”.
