What should I wear? What do I need to bring?

We suggest wearing comfortable, fitted workout apparel. Most students opt for a tank top, breathable leggings and grip socks (very helpful when managing a sweaty mat). Grip socks can be purchased at the studio.

Mats and sweat towels are provided for all of the classes, but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. There is a water fountain in the back right hallway of the studio.


Do I need to be in shape?

The Ritual signature class is a vigorous workout, but is suitable for all levels of fitness. Our instructors will provide modifications for movements and we encourage you to listen to your body and find a pace that works for you.


Can I do The Ritual classes if I am pregnant?

Our instructors will provide low-impact modifications for cardio and certain strength movements. We encourage you to consult your doctor before participating and to speak to the instructor prior to class to discuss any necessary modifications.


Is the studio heated?

No, none of the classes at The Ritual are heated. However, the studio can feel warm in classes where there are lots of participants.


Do you offer a monthly or annual memberships?

Yes, please see our PRICING section for more details of the various passes available.


What is your late cancellation policy?

If you have reserved a spot online and have not checked in at the front desk at least 10 minutes prior to the class starting, your spot will be released to the next person on the waitlist and you will be deducted 1 class on your account. Classes begin on time and students are not permitted to join the class if they arrive after the class has started.

For 6:00am and 7:30am classes you must cancel before 10:00pm the night before your scheduled class to avoid a “Late Cancel” penalty.

For all other classes, we have a 4-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation in less than 4 hours of the class or do not show up, it is considered a "Late Cancel" and you will be deducted 1 class on your account. For monthly and annual memberships, a $19 fee will be charged to the credit card on your account. If you cancel in advance of times indicated above, the class credit will be returned to your account for future use.

If you know you are unable to attend a class, we kindly ask that you “Late Cancel” to open up your space for our waitlist. You can do so online via the MindBody app or our website by logging into your account. Please note we do not accept bookings or cancellations over the phone.


What is your waitlist policy?

When classes are completely full, we begin a waitlist. Students need to have credits on their account in order to be added to the waitlist. If your spot is not confirmed, your class credit will be returned to your account for future use.

Waitlisted spots are confirmed via email or text. *Please note that if you un-checked the box that said "Subscribe to email or text notifications“ when you created your MINDBODY account, you will NOT receive the email/ text notification when added into a waitlisted class.

We recommend that you change your notification preferences to receive text notifications to ensure you are notified immediately if you have been added to the waitlist.

3. Click on the MY INFO tab

4. Click on Profile in the sub menu and the Edit button in the top right corner of the Personal menu.

5. Go to Notification Preference at the bottom of the list, select Email and Text Messages from the drop down menu.

6. Click Save.

We also encourage waitlisted students to come to The Studio in case there are no-shows or late cancellations. If there are empty mats 5 minutes before the start of class, we will release those mats to stand-by students in the order of the waitlist.


Should I arrive early?

Yes, we suggest arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the class to check-in so we can help you get settled on your mat. For your safety and the group experience in mind, students are not permitted to enter the class after it has started.


Do you have gift cards?

Yes! You can purchase a gift card in-studio or online. Click HERE to purchase a gift card online. To redeem a gift card, you can either enter your Gift Card Number online at checkout, or redeem in studio.


Does the studio have showers?

Unfortunately, our studio does not have showers. We have 2 washrooms and a vanity area with a large mirror where you can freshen up after class.


Is there a minimum age requirement to participate in classes?

Yes, the minimum age is 15 years old, and we will need a written consent from a parent or guardian if you are under 18.
